Install the WordPress kit
This walkthrough covers version 0.1.0. Real WordPress installation tests have not yet been completed. Read the compatibility limits and use a staging site before changing a production site.
01 — Prepare a safe place to test
Confirm that your site can install third-party WordPress plugins. Read the current compatibility limits, make a backup and prepare a staging copy. Keep a record of your existing public rates and quote notes.
02 — Install the ZIP on staging
After downloading the package, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin in your staging site. Choose nirbliss-quote-kit-0.1.0.zip, install it and activate it.
The installation workflow still requires verification in a real WordPress environment. A successful payment or download does not establish compatibility with your site.
03 — Enter your public pricing rules
Open Settings → Nirbliss Quote Kit. Set your business name, currency, service rates and minimums, delivery options, fixed extras, HTTPS contact link and public notes. The plugin supports up to three services, three delivery options and five fixed extras.
Delivery surcharges use integer basis points: 2,500 basis points means 25%. Choose USD, EUR or GBP and enter rates for that currency. Currency selection does not convert exchange rates.
Enter only rates you are happy for visitors to inspect. Front-end calculator rules are not a suitable place for confidential costs or margins. Preview unsaved changes, check the results, then save. No sample rates are automatically published; the public calculator needs a valid saved configuration.
04 — Preview, embed and verify
Add [nirbliss_quote] to a WordPress Shortcode block on a staging page, then preview the page. For an explicit interface language, use [nirbliss_quote lang="en"] or [nirbliss_quote lang="zh"]. Service names and other custom text appear as entered; they are not automatically translated.
Before publishing, test a short project below your minimum, a standard project, a rush project and each extra. Check the page on a phone, with a keyboard, and with the other plugins your site uses. Verify contact links and quote notes.
05 — Keep an easy rollback
Keep your backup and previous plugin package before updating. If the calculator behaves unexpectedly on staging, leave the production site unchanged and contact support with the steps to reproduce the issue.
Uninstalling retains your configuration by default. Delete configuration only by explicitly choosing the deletion option in the plugin settings before uninstalling. Installation on your behalf and custom development are outside standard support.
